“I approached Rachel with unexplained abdominal pain and IBS. I had tried cutting out dairy and gluten but nothing seemed to be working. I had an important family meal coming up and I was worried I would be in too much pain to go. 

We discussed my health history and other current symptoms and I kept a food diary. Rachel suggested I might have a histamine intolerance, something I had never considered. She then provided me with a list of foods to avoid for a short period of time and she helped me to review the menu at the restaurant I was going to.
